Akan m/70B

The Akan m/70B is a 40mm, lightened and shortened variant of the Bofors m/70 anti-aircraft cannon equipped for the Swedish Strf 9040 series of IFVs. The cannon fires at a rate of 300 rpm (5 rps), with a 24 round ammunition storage + 1 round in the breech, giving it the ability to fire for 5 seconds without needing to reload. The cannon is reloaded with discardable 3 round clips, allowing the loader to quickly feed rounds into the autoloader when the gun is not firing, with approximately 1 second between each 3 second clip. The cannon is capable of firing 4 different types of ammo, an older, less expensive Armour Peircing Fin Stabilized Discarding Sabot (APFSDS) round, a more modern but more expensive APFSDS round with more mass, penetration, and damage, a High Explosive (HE) round with good anti-infantry and open-topped vehicle use, and a High Explosive [Variable Timed] (HE-VT) round with the ability to be programmed to detonate after a certain time, or when the round detects something within 4 meters of it. This makes it useful against low-flying aircraft and helicopters, due to it's rather large explosive mass, the cannon's fast fire rate, and the good muzzle velocity. This cannon could either come along with the introduction of a lightly armoured Swedish IFV, or the placement of it onto a towable bed that would make it even more mobile, but less protected. This cannon would make a good addition if other autocannons were introduced along with it, such as the 25mm M242 Bushmaster, 30mm Bushmaster Mk44, 35mm Bushmaster MkIII, 30mm 2A42 Shipunov, and the 20mm Rh-202 autocannons. It could be the heaviest variant. However, I have no plans to make those suggestions yet, as I have no idea if there are any suggestions for them yet.

Thanks for reading my suggestion btw.

(Also there is no lone photo that I could find for the Akan m/70B, so have a Strf 9040A with the Akan m/70B equipped. Ground mount is the longer, heavier m/70.)
