Batteries For NVGs/limited usage time

I think the NVGs are a bit OP, so why not add batteries? The batteries would basically work in the same way you would reload a magazine. You would press R on a set of NVGs. A real life set of NVGs would last you around 30 Hours. So in Minecraft it should maybe last a day and a half (approximately). This may be longer for gameplay purposes, but maybe add a config option to increase/decrease battery usage (please don't reject if you don't plan to add config file. The main point is to add NVG batteries). Also maybe make them rechargeable, but they would decrease in efficiency of time. Now I understand why these shouldn't be added. Its quite annoying to have to keep making sure that these NVGs don't run out of battery life, but it would be nice anyways. If there would be a config file, or option, then you could effectively have infinite battery life anyways, but I hope this suggestion will be liked by the community.
